AFRICAphonie Wins Award as Best Civil Society Organisation of the Year

Following a poll organised by The Scoop Media Group for Cameroonians to cast their votes online for "2014 The Scoop Civil Society Organisation of the Year Award" AFRICAphonie was selected as the Laureate.

The Award was presented AFRICAphonie's Executive Director, George Ngwane, on May 3rd 2015 (World International Press Freedom Day) at Elongo Gardens Hotel, Kumba, SWR Cameroon under the distinguished patronage of the Turkish Ambassador to Cameroon, Senator Nfon Mukete Victor , Government Delegate of Kumba City Council and a host of media practitioners and guests.
